Anna Ptitsyna and her husband Yuriy have been married for many years. Their strong marriage is marred only by the absence of children. Anna persuades her husband to try IVF again, but he does not appear on the appointed day. Anna realizes that her husband is missing. She goes to the police and enlists volunteers in the search, but to no avail. Anna's new acquaintance, the orthopedist Ivan, suggests that she ask her friends. If Yuriy didn't die and isn't unconscious in one of the hospitals, maybe he had a secret life that Anna didn't know about?
