In a besieged kingdom, the royal castle burns under relentless enemy assault. Inside, an aging king, weakened and half-delirious, clings to the magic stone bound to his crown. His son, the prince, pleads with him to wield its power to save their people or to flee the burning city, but the proud king refuses to yield. As the defenses collapse, the prince drags his father through the crumbling halls, fighting off enemies at great cost. Wounded and desperate, they reach the castle courtyard, only to be surrounded. Cornered, the king finally unleashes his power, summoning a towering golem of stone that devastates the enemy army before collapsing, draining the last of his life. At dawn, with his final breath, the king admits his failings and passes the crown to his son. Rising as the new king, the young man awakens an even greater golem, his eyes burning with determination and vengeance, the war has only just begun.
