FUERZA ARRISTA: rage, thunder and mirages follows, over the course of three years in Barcelona, the footsteps of Blanca Haddad, an artist and poet whose work bears witness to a fierce libertarian life. Through her paintings, exhibitions, poetry readings and performances, Blanca expresses her inner struggle and her awareness as a woman, an artist, and an immigrant. With a background as punk as it is academic, she fights to sustain a creative passion that rejects labels and conventional narratives. We witness an imminent breakthrough just as she decides to return to her native Caracas, a place she left over two decades ago. "I think I've always been running away from situations - I don't know which one I'm running from this time," Blanca Haddad Dix. The documentary portrays her intense and contradictory life, her fear of silence and solitude, but also the pain that freedom can bring. The dilemma between returning to a country in crisis or staying to enjoy well-earned success raises questions: is this just another escape, or a definitive choice? In the midst of her journey, she reveals the reason behind her decision - and time seems to prove there was never room for any other.
