Every summer in Bastia, young adolescents gather on the citadel's fortifications to perpetuate a ritual as risky as it is symbolic: diving into the sea from the top of the rampart. Jean-Do is a former jumper. Returning to the scenes of his youth, he recalls his first steps on the wall. Fabio is the most seasoned among them; he watches over the younger ones and passes on the rules of this initiatory rite. Lastly, Marc'An belongs to the newest generation. He observes, he still doubts, but this year it's decided: he will jump.
