With season six imminently to be broadcast, the primary cast reflects on what was season five of All Creatures Great & Small (2020). They talk about: how the season being set in an early year of WWII pervaded the needed bond between the characters; new characters and animals, and the return of some missing ones, the most notable in the former being James and Helen's newborn son, Jimmy, and in the latter being Tristan, portrayed by Callum Woodhouse; and how the primary characters have evolved due to these circumstances. In a bit of fun, they play a series of quick fire quizzes: which animal on the show are they most like; who is the funniest; who is the least like their character and conversely who is the most like their character; who is best with the animals on set; who has the best shoulder to cry on; who is the perfectionist; who do you trust with your secrets; and who do you miss most between seasons. They conclude talking about their hopes for season six.
