Kate, a 27-year-old woman, has never been lucky in love. Despite her disappointments, she remains hopeful that one day she will find someone who truly connects with her. Eventually, she falls for Tate, a 28-year-old man from Uganda, after meeting him online. For two years, they maintain a long-distance relationship without ever seeing each other in person-only exchanging daily photos. However, Tate has a secret. Lacking confidence in his appearance, he has been sending Kate pictures of another man-a model he found on Instagram-without the man's knowledge. When Kate insists on finally meeting in person, Tate panics. He knows he must now look exactly like the man in the photos. Desperate, he tracks down the real man and convinces him to pretend to be him for a monthly payment. But things take an unexpected turn when the real man starts developing feelings for Kate. As time passes, Kate begins to notice inconsistencies in their conversations and realizes something is off. Eventually, she uncovers Tate's deception through interactions with the real man. Heartbroken once again, she is left deeply wounded, and even her friends grow tired of seeing her suffer. Would Kate ever heal from yet another heartbreak? And will Tate ever find the courage to love himself as he is?
