A group of best friends and animal rights activists have been working on a huge project for over two years: building a home for war animals in Ukraine. We have created a five episode doc series »Tierbrücke« about this super-unlikely project. The journey of Malte , Phia, Broder and Zeck began almost too naively in a country at war. Together with the internationally active animal welfare organization "Notpfote", content creator Malte Zierden took a trip to Berehowe in western Ukraine over two years ago and visited a local animal shelter, which was completely overcrowded due to the war. A simple Insta story led to 100.000EUR donations from Malte's community - enough to finance a new animal shelter.
