Rakhyas is the first female oriented jungle action-adventure movie in sambalpuri. the story based on folklore and culture of periodic western odisha As western Odisha is blessed with a lot Devi Shakti like maa samleswari, maa sureswari, maa manikeswari, ghanteswari, Metakani, patmeswari etc and as our history and purana says when a demon or Rakhyas goes out of control then devi comes in different Avatar to destroy it This film is our humble tribute to maa adishakti who destroyed all the demons inside and outside and a celebration of women power. The story starts when Girls are missing in a village of western odisha villagers believe that it's the Rakhyas who took the girls because they have crossed their limit. As it's based on pre independence time so there was a belief that women are not supposed to do certain things and whenever there is an independent girl in that village, she disappeared so belief of villagers are strong that some RAKHYAS is doing it. At the same time a young girl Malti who lost her father, she wanted to do the last right and cremation of her father but some people in the village said she cannot do the cremation as it's not done by women so if she crossed her limit the Rakhyas will come and she will face the consequences. But with the help of her lover and some villagers she performed the last right. Then the next day she disappeared from the Village what happened to her? What happened to the other girls of the village? Is it really a Rakhyas? Or some other conspiracy? Who is behind it? What will happen to the girls? Will they survive? Who will help them? That will be explained in the next part of the movie with the unbelievable saga of courage, thrill, adventure, action and survival.
