Le Petit et le Géant is a stop-motion animated short film that immerses us in a post-apocalyptic world through the eyes of a lonely hamster. Roaming the remnants of ancient cities, he collects objects, searches for water, and tries to preserve the few plants still alive. One day, he stumbles upon a pair of binoculars. Through them, he sees a strange house covered in flowers, right in the heart of the urban desert. Intrigued, he ventures inside and meets the Giant, a plant-like creature trapped in its own refuge. Fearful of the outside world, it dares not leave the walls of its mansion. The little hamster then helps the Giant overcome its fear and rediscover the world. Together, they embark on a mission as simple as it is grand: to make the Earth bloom again.
