In a decaying cyberpunk world, X, a prophesied savior of unknown origin, is awake amidst a dystopian wasteland, transiting from a clumsy observer to a revolutionary leader, rallying oppressed humans to overthrow tyrannical rulers. His victories, however, unravel as power corrupts. During a triumphant ritual, X's dance with a seductive former queen culminates in betrayal-strangled by unseen forces, his corpse becomes a hollow symbol. Posthumously, society fractures: some hail him as a martyr; others condemn his hubris. His severed head, displayed in a desolate square, embodies the cyclical tragedy of heroism-a creation and casualty of societal violence and desire. Through X's rise and fall, HERO explores the perilous dance between imitation, rebellion, and the inevitable self-destruction of those who dare to challenge oppressive systems.
