Julia Sakurai (18) is a rebellious high school student who has driven away every English tutor her parents hired. She refuses to learn English, no matter what. One day, her parents hire Alyssa (28), an English tutor from the UK. At first, Alyssa seems elegant and well-mannered, but in reality, she is a bold and unpredictable teacher who fights back using street slang and attitude. Meanwhile, Julia's best friend, Misaki Kayama (18)-a self-proclaimed descendant of witches-is constantly caught up in Julia's antics. When Julia decides to "put that tutor out of her misery soon," Alyssa, she forces Misaki to cooperate. In a desperate attempt, Misaki tries to use her supposed witch powers, but the situation quickly spirals out of control in unexpected ways.
