Júpiter Maçã, as the musician Flavio Basso from Rio Grande do Sul became known nationwide, released his first solo album in 1997, the iconic "A Sétima Efervescência". To defend this album on stages throughout Brazil, Júpiter put together a power trio, recruiting Marcelo Gross (Gross would later form the band Cachorro Grande) for the drums and Júlio Cascaes for the bass. Through recordings of the trio's first shows, festivals, archival images (some still completely unknown to the general public) and interviews conducted especially for the documentary, "Essência Interior" depicted this unique period in the artist's career, which lasted from October 1996 to December 1999.
