Blood On Our Shoes is a 3-Part docufilm about Boston Adidas, Music, and Gang Culture during the 1970's, the 1980's, and 1990's. This 3-Part docufilm has captured footage from every neighborhood in inner-city neighborhood in Boston that was affected by crime, gangs and drugs during these times. In 1982 Intervale St. and Normandy St. an area in Boston adopted the brand Adidas, and it was the first neighborhood in Boston that started throwing Adidas (old and New) sneakers in a tree, which started the famous "Adidas Park" in Boston. Adidas Park has been featured in Sports Illustrated (May 14, 1990) The Boston Globe and The Boston Herald (April 7, 1985), some good press, and some bad press. Adidas Park started a trend in which other neighborhoods started to adopt the brand Adidas and start their own Adidas tree and culture in Boston. 41 years later some of these same individuals that lived or were apart of these neighborhoods refuse to wear anything but the brand Adidas on their feet. Unfortunately, during the crack epidemic this lifestyle mixed with territorial mindsets provoked violence that resulted in blood being spilled throughout the streets of Boston. Several years later after Boston Street gangs were targeted and arrested by the federal government for numerous federal and state charges the streets of Boston continued to represent the brand Adidas. In 2007 a few guys from the same area of Adidas Park and Intervale Street got together on Father's Day to honor the children of the guys that were still incarcerated by throwing a Father's Day cookout in the community. Several years later this Father's Day Cookout in that area is still being held every Father's Day. The same individuals that the federal government targeted, have finished their federal sentences and are now productive and respected members of their communities and they come together on this day to give back to the community and there is "No Violence on this Day"
