In the Kingdom of Enzolart, in the mountain village of Hurn, a nineteen-year-old named Eltiur found an ancient necklace in a frozen lake. It was Inwog, the plumb line with which God measured the world during creation. Inwog will slip under Eltiur's skin and give him magical powers, but the young man will discover that the necklace is possessed by a spirit of a long-lost legend, with whom he will be forced to make a pact. The spirit is called Mord Dur'agemski. He will become Eltiur tutor and reveal to him long-forgotten secrets of reality.
