Biology teacher Irina recently broke up with her husband because of his infidelity. After the divorce, Mikhail left Ira an apartment and promised to help if needed. On the way home, Irina is almost hit by a car. The driver has a heart attack due to stress. Irina calls an ambulance, and then continues to visit Semyon, distracting herself from her own problems. Gradually, they find a common language and become closer. Semyon falls in love, but Ira, despite mutual feelings, understands that she is not ready for a new relationship.
